The story of Independence River Lodge is a journey born from our shared passion and love for family, nature, and creating unforgettable experiences. As husband and wife, Dan and Leleya, along with Dan’s brother Vadim, we embarked on this endeavor driven by a desire to fashion a place where our own families could gather, ride, unwind, and forge cherished memories.
Drawing from our skills as home renovators and experts in kitchen and bath design, we set out to create an environment that was as inviting as it was modern, as comfortable as it was luxurious.
But we can’t keep the magic of Independence River Lodge to ourselves. We wanted to extend an invitation to others like us, offering them a slice of the paradise we had envisioned. We now offer family cabin rentals in Upstate NY to our guests.
Highly recommend! Top notch! Beautiful oasis in the middle of the Adirondacks. Total perfection inside and out. The main house is beautifully remodeled with care and much attention to detail. Comfortably sleeps large groups and the common areas are perfect for family time together. Kitchen is spacious and hosts top of the line appliances. Nothing was spared in making this home feel like a high end resort. The sauna and hot tub area is a luxury spa. Meticulously finished details with a mini kitchen, bathroom and everything you’d need to leave rested and relaxed. Well groomed trails and direction arrows on the trees easily guide you to and from the beautiful river running through the woods.
Local eatery, fresh butcher shop, Walmart, and other stores are within a 15 min drive. This place wonderfully exceeded our expectations! The owners treat this place as their own and it shows through and through. Highly recommend for a couple or a group of friends looking to get away into the beautiful and quite Adirondacks.
